You do not need a full renovation to transform a bathroom. A soft-close seat, a non-electric bidet attachment, and fresh tank internals change the way a bathroom looks and feels — usually in well under an hour. Drag the slider to compare.
Shop upgradesA typical install, step by step
Steps vary by product — always follow the instructions in the box. The pattern below covers most bidet attachments and seats.

1 · Shut off the water
Turn the supply valve at the wall clockwise and flush to drain the tank. Keep a towel handy for residual water.

2 · Remove the old part
Unclip the seat hinges or disconnect the tank supply line. Most seats and attachments come off by hand or with a screwdriver.

3 · Fit the upgrade
Set the new attachment, seat, or valve in place and hand-tighten the universal fittings. Do not over-tighten plastic threads.

4 · Test and adjust
Reopen the valve slowly, check every connection for drips, and set the control dial or water level. You are done.
Compatibility checklist
A few minutes of measuring prevents most fitment problems.
Check that you have a two-piece toilet with an accessible tank supply line, a standard 7/8" tank connection, and enough clearance between the bowl rim and seat. Always confirm thread size, seat shape, and clearance before purchase.
